CREATIVES CLUB: INTERVIEW WITH ARTIST ANGIE KING.
Today Element Eden went on a spring road trip to meet up with our next Creative’s Club member, Angie to talk watercolours, art school, inspiration and future dreams…
19 year old Angie King is an artist, art student and all around beautiful, creative girl. Art (in particular painting) has been a constant in Angie’s life; for as long as she can remember she has been creative and drawing.
Angie is in her third and final year at the South Bank Institute of Technology Art School and tells us how happy she is that she pursued art school and how much her art has improved by meeting more young creatives to motivate and push her art to the next level. Angie also explains how studying at art school has exposed her to art mediums vastly different from the comfort of what she knew, but through this experience Angie discovered that painting in watercolour was her favourite medium.
When Angie brought out some of her artwork we found ourselves face to face with some of the most beautiful women in the world, except we were gazing upon amazing water colour portraits of them. The lifelike realness each of Angie’s portraits showcases is truly unbelievable and throughout our meeting with Angie we found ourselves constantly saying the word “Amazing” whenever we looked over at her portraits (they really are amazing!)
Here at Element Eden we count ourselves lucky to have experienced Angie’s amazing art and we hope to see much more of her work in the future.
If you would like to see Angie’s beautiful portraits, then head along to the Zenith 150 Art Exhibition, where her work will be on display on the 12th of November.
