Every year, the Elemental Awareness Crew travels to various Indian Reservations across the country to hold giveback skateboarding events for the local tribes.

Why reservations you may ask? Well, first and foremost Indian Reservations are statistically some of the most under supported communities across the nation, and are seldom visited by the skateboard community. And furthermore, most of the "skills" we teach in our wilderness survival class at Element Skate Camp come from Native practices; so in a way, visiting the Tribal communities is paying homage to the wealth of knowledge we've gained from their communities.

Needless to say, over the past ten years we have made some life-long friendships with various tribes across the nation, and this year -Armed with 100 skateboards, over 50 sets of wheels, and boxes of Tee Shirts from our friends over at The Mountain- we headed out to the "Western Frontier" to visit the S'klallam tribe in Port Gamble, Washington, and the Blackfoot tribe in Polson, Montana.
