Love of National Parks
We’ve all felt heartbreak—we’ve lost loved ones, we’ve been dumped, we’ve been fired, we’ve let a dream slip away. It happens. It’s life. And even though life can suck sometimes, there’s still so much to be grateful for.
It’s why I love visiting our National Parks. In the midst of all the concrete and confusion, there they are—forever preserved and forever wild. Just spending time in a place so big and so beautiful helps you remember how small you are, and how insignificant your heartbreak is in the larger scheme of things. So next time your heart is aching, plan a trip to a National Park and let nature heal you. At the very least, you’ll remember to smile for the pictures.
